Beyond Mindfulness: An Introduction to Traditional Yogic Meditation - You’ll be introduced to a traditional yogic meditation practice. Using a mindfulness technique based on breath meditation (pranayama), we will also learn how to withdraw the mind from the external world (pratyahara), then how to concentrate the mind and thus harmonize your chakras (dharana) and finally to integrate all these aspects of meditation in a deep state of blissful flow (dhyan). This meditation is both relaxing and energizing.
Yoga Philosophy to Live By: An introduction to yogic and tantric philosophy - Yoga means union and oneness, and in this workshop you will be introduced to some of the basic concepts of yoga philosophy, where they came from, and how they can inspire and inform us in daily life. Yoga is much more than a physical exercise—it is also a worldview to live by. So, in this workshop, we will explore how to talk and walk our yoga.
